Albert Pick Hall, home of UMIA
The institute dedicates an important portion on its incubating efforts to advance research on issues influencing the Americas in the 21st Century. Themes addressed include hemispheric health, gender and social development, social justice, migration, arts and humanities, and economic policy.
Current areas of focus, championed by our faculty research fellows, are Hemispheric Health, Climate and the Environment, Migration, and Peace, Justice, and Accountable Institutions.
