The libraries of the University of Miami rank among the top research libraries in North America with a combined collection of over 3.2 million volumes, with 74,000 current electronic and print serials.

The Cuban Heritage Collection collects, preserves, and provides access to primary and secondary sources of enduring historical, research, and artifactual value which relate to Cuba and the Cuban diaspora from colonial times to the present. The Collection supports the teaching, learning, and research needs of the University of Miami and the broader scholarly community.

Other collections related to Latin America and the Caribbean are available at the Special Collections, dedicated to acquiring, preserving and making available rare and unique materials to support scholars, researchers, artists, and those wishing to learn more about our collective past and present.
